Colour Coding Cleaning
Colour Codes
Introduction to Colour Coded Cleaning
The British Institute of Cleaning Science developed the colour coding system to recommend for the cleaning industry in the late 1990s. The purpose of colour coding cleaning areas and cleaning equipment is to prevent cross contamination throughout the cleaning process.
It is largely considered good practice to implement and adhere to a colour coded system for cleaning commercial/professional environments as COSHH and FSA Regulations are important. You will find that all relevant Nilco products are colour coded in accordance with this system.
